The President's Academic Excellence Scholarship

The President’s Academic Excellence Scholarship is available to current year high school graduates who show exceptional promise. Eligible students must achieve a composite score of 28 or higher on the ACT Test (SAT/Compass score equivalent), must be ranked in the upper 15% of their high school graduating class and have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Ten students will be chosen by the Academic Scholarship Selection Committee. The scholarship must be used the academic year immediately following graduation from high school. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours each semester for one school year. To receive the second semester award, students must earn a 3.5 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale) or higher. This scholarship will pay all tuition and fees up to 19 credit hours each semester.
